Axamer Lizum + Holiday Inn | Bed & Ride | 08.01. - 10.01.27 | mit Selbstanreise
Axamer Lizum is one of the top freeride spots in the Innsbruck Olympic ski region and, with 300 hectares of open terrain, numerous north-facing slopes and altitudes of up to 2,340 m, offers the perfect conditions for unforgettable powder adventures. It’s no coincidence that the area is nicknamed ‘Weißes Dachl’ – guaranteed snow is a given here. The new Hoadlbahn cable car takes you directly from the car park up to the Hoadl-Haus at 2,340 m in just 6 minutes, meaning winter sports enthusiasts – together with the Olympic funicular – can get from the very bottom to the very top quickly and easily, something few ski resorts offer. Axamer Lizum isn’t just for freeride pros: beginners and skiers of all other levels will find ideal slopes, safe practice areas and varied runs here.

You’ll be staying at the Holiday Inn Innsbruck. Right outside this stylish 4-star hotel in the east of Innsbruck, the ski bus will take you to the nearby Axamer Lizum ski resort. Kaunertaler Gletscher | Weekend | 21.11. - 22.11.26 | mit Selbstanreise
It’s finally that time of year again! To kick off the winter season, we’ve picked our favourite glacier: with an impressive 55 kilometres of slopes, mostly natural snow, and the legendary snow park, the Kaunertal Glacier offers ideal conditions for a perfect start to the season. No long queues at the lifts, varied runs covering over 1,000 metres in altitude and slopes with no drag lines – there’s something for everyone here! Whether you’re looking for wide carving runs or want to let off steam in the snow park, the Kaunertal leaves nothing to be desired. For this weekend trip, we’ll be staying at the Hotel Tia Monte in Feichten, at the foot of the glacier. This weekend isn’t just perfect for all fans of glacier snow, but also for anyone looking to buy a new snowboard for the coming winter: at the same time, the Shred Testival is taking place on the Kaunertal Glacier, where you can put boards from 30 manufacturers through their paces for free.

Arosa Lenzerheide | Weekend | 05.12. - 06.12.26 | mit Selbstanreise
Arosa and Lenzerheide have long been among Switzerland’s best-known winter sports resorts and, thanks to their high altitude, are a brilliant destination for the start of the season. Their merger has catapulted them into the top tier of Alpine resorts – 225 kilometres of slopes, 2 snow parks and 4 marked freeride runs are simply irresistible! In the morning, we recommend starting on the sun-drenched slopes on the Arosa side, before heading over to the Lenzerheide side to carve some turns in the afternoon. Accommodation is at the Grischalodge in Parpan, which impresses with its proximity to the Heimberg lift and an authentic Swiss ‘all-you-can-eat’ raclette in the evening.
