It's finally time again! For the start of the winter season, we have chosen a real cracker: the Kaunertal Glacier - an absolute hotspot among the Tyrolean glaciers! With an impressive 55 kilometres of pistes, mainly natural snow, and the legendary snow park, the Kaunertal Glacier offers ideal conditions for a perfect start to the season. No long waiting times at the lifts, varied descents over 1,000 metres in altitude and pistes with no drags - everyone gets their money's worth here! Whether you are looking for wide carving runs or want to let off steam in the snow park, the Kaunertal leaves nothing to be desired.

Because experience shows that a lot of kilometres of pistes are already open here at the beginning of December - exactly what we're looking for! Parsenn, the highest of the 5 Davos mountains, offers endless, wide runs of all levels of difficulty. Whether you want to cruise leisurely or rock the steeper slopes, the ski area is definitely a good choice for the start of the winter season!

Unfortunately, Flem Lodge is now fully booked. However, there are still a few rooms available in the Mountain Hostel.

At the Mountain Hostel, you stay right in the heart of the ski area, on the piste and close to the snow parks. Enjoy impressive sunrises with the unique mountain panorama from Crap Sogn Gion. And after breakfast, head out onto the freshly groomed piste without any annoying waiting times! The accommodation is simple, but clean and comfortable, and the best thing about it: it is located at 2,252 metres above sea level and offers an included breakfast and a delicious 3-course dinner. Some of the rooms have a shared shower & WC, while others have their own bathroom and shower & WC.

The course is aimed at all beginners who are on the mountain for the first time or still have difficulties with the right balance. The course is run by a certified snowboard instructor. On Sunday you will have the opportunity to consolidate what you have learnt and improve your technique.

Information about luggage:
We recommend that you take your luggage and sports equipment with you in the spacious large gondola. Alternatively, you can leave your luggage in the underground car park in the depot provided on arrival. It will be transported to the Mountainhostel at 16:00. The same service is available on the day of departure: Drop off your luggage at the gondola when you check out and we will take it to Laax. From 15:00 you can pick it up again at the depot in the underground car park (not far from the bus parking area). Before you check into your room (arrival) and after you leave your room (departure), you can leave your luggage in the Mountainhostel lobby on the 1st floor.
